Loose Cannon Barrel Aged Stout Can 375mL

This graceful barrel aged stout has rested in Plantagenet Wines Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. The Shiraz lends hints of berry fruits, smokey oak and a touch of white pepper, while the Cabernet Sauvignon supplies gentle rich chocolate flavours, French oak and ripe tannins. These notes blend deliciously with the Chocolate, Wheat and Roasted Barley specialty malts used in the mash. A light addition of Chinook hops in the boil supplies a light bitterness to round out this perfect cool weather beer.
