Petit Chablis AC19

This friable permutation of limestone, melded to the cool climate of Burgundy’s northern reaches, imparts an underlying energy, tension and the sort of poise, intensity of flavour and giddy drinkability of few other Chardonnay. Petit Chablis is hewn of fruit from the lower lying sites, rather than the hillside vineyards. Here, the grapes are often a little more ripe and the subsequent styles of wine a bit fleshier and more accessible.
