Deep, rich and voluptuous. An amalgam of black cherries, kirsch, wood spice and menthol, but it's most definitely in the savoury spectrum. Full bodied, with firm tannins, yet there's some squishy texture across the palate and lively acidity throughout. Impressive.

They had us at “Triple trophy winner!” It’s hard to argue with that statistic. Our view is that the wine absolutely commands attention. From a top Mornington vineyard, it exhibits deep, fleshy pinot characters - dark cherry, kirsch, mushroom, fresh tobacco and spice. Built on a sturdy frame with a velvet textured finish - a complete package. Dan’s panel member, Rob Aitken, says, “This is a powerful pinot that ticks all the right boxes.”
