Cold soaked to maximise colour and glean aromatic intensity. Maturation in quality French oak (2 years) has conferred bitter chocolate-espresso doused tannins. The bottle, heavy and silly and best used for bicep curls. The wine, rich, plush and salubrious, beaming dark fruit references with an attractive bitterness, evincing a welcome savouriness. It reminds me of something from California. Just one-third of the price.
