A more restrained but equally pretty nose reflects notes of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, lavender and yes, a hint of violet. The succulent, fleshy and round flavors possess slightly riper tannins though there is still a bit of dryness on the firmer finish. This may well successfully age out as the dryness doesn't appear to affect the persistence.
