Medium deep colour. Intense blackcurrant dark chocolate, roasted chestnut aromas and flavours with herb garden chinotto notes, fine-grained/ cedary tannins, superbly integrated vanilla, mocha notes and fresh long mineral acidity. Finishes al-dente firm. A classic vintage with lovely definition, density and vinosity. Should develop very well over the medium to long term. Drink now but best 2024-2032 14.5% alc.
