Miraval Cotes de Provence Rosé is one of the highest profile wine brands in the world because of its association with Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. While that marriage fell apart, Miraval Rosé has gone from strength to strength reflecting the enduring combination of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino) and Syrah. A small proportion of the blend was barrel fermented to give an extra level of complexity, while Rolle better known today by its Italian name Vermentino brings aromatic intensity floral notes on the palate. The gorgeous pale blush colour, superb pure red cherry, stone fruit, rock melon aromas, and flavours, supple textures and crunchy freshness are all in perfect balance. Vinified under the supervision of the great Perrin winemaking family, Miraval is a technically brilliant and stylish rosé with wonderful buoyancy, substance and minerality. Always great as an aperitif or enjoy with grilled fish, light pasta dishes or light cheeses.
