Shene may not have found the fountain of youth, but our quest has delivered an interesting paradox. Elixir of Life is principally matured in small 20 Litre Australian Apera casks methodically crafted. When the spirit reached its height, it was further evolved in well sought after Pedro Ximenez casks from Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, Spain. Spanish oak encourages intense flavours, making this a bold and daring whisky, delivering notes of dark velvety chocolate, Christmas pudding, toffee, fruits and nuts. A lovely oily coating that will leave you salivating.
