Solera Cask Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky 700mL

Shene has taken this rich, sweet and smooth whisky through a combination of hand-selected cask types, commencing with the finest Australian Tawny and Apera casks, skilfully crafted at their very own cooperage. Once the whisky has reached its prime, Shene further ages the spirit in their exclusive Grant Burge Solera Cask System using time-honoured traditions of continuous fractional blending techniques.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Warm spring nose-feel, spiced honey, dried cherry, figs and plum.

Palate: Smooth, oily, warming, mid-viscosity mouth feel. Cherries, vanilla, dried fruit and toffee, hints of toasted cinnamon with cloves and black pepper around the edge.

Finish: Medium finish tingled with spicy, aromatic bitters.
