Ardbeg Wee Beastie. A monster of a dram! “Wee” is a Scottish adjective which means small/little. A “beastie” is a creature, usually small and often with ‘attitude’ beyond its size. Ardbeg Wee Beastie has been matured for just 5 years, making it the untamed ‘enfant terrible’ of the whisky world. On tasting, the whisky is not just incredibly smoky, but also surprisingly well balanced by the expert use of sherry cask maturation. Only 5 years old yet incredibly powerful with a formidable bite.

If you like Islay Peat, you’ll love the Wee Beastie. A young Ardbeg that packs a punch.

My friend gave me a shot. Far out. I've tried talisker and Glen moray peated but this was a different animal. If you haven't tried peat. Make sure you take your time. It's not for he faint hearted.

A wonderful example of Peaty goodness, yet it’s subtle enough for drinkers starting to explore all that Islay has to offer. A definite must have in your cabinet for an intensely pleasurable dram all year round.
