The 2021 vintage produced a slew of great Cabernets in the Barossa, one of which was Krondorf's Kingship, made from prime Rifle Range Road fruit. Thick dark crimson in colour with the brightness of a healthy, energy packed wine - decadently intense flavours of cassis, blackberries and mulberries, panforte, cloves, and warm dark spices. Not over-blown, perfectly framed by French oak, polished tannins, and with a careful structure that ensures great age-worthiness. Tremendous drinking now, watch this as it becomes even better in years to come.

Deep colour. Violet, blackcurrant, hint black olive aromas with roasted walnut notes. Generous glossy wine with ample blackcurrant, Parma violet flavours, finely grained slightly gritty/ al dente textures and underlying sesame/ roasted walnut notes. Finishes gravelly and minerally. Still in parts. Very impressive concentration and torque. Very good ageing potential. 2024 – 2034
