Enticing in youth and greater depth and elegance a reward of careful, patient cellaring.

Matured in French oak (7% new) for 18 months. Very good colour; a full-bodied cabernet with tannins filling the saddlebags on both sides of the palate; slightly adrift from the supple d'Arenberg style, but may come back into better balance.
