Jack West from out the way of the Western Barossa. This is the handiwork of Lienert Vineyards. Warm fruit flavour, sweet and ripe, loose-woven for the most part but it tightens just enough through the finish. Black liquorice and raspberry, woodsy peppercorn-like spice flavours, semblances of earth and rust. Alcohol warmth is noticeable but it’s lovely to drink; satisfying in an upper-medium-weight way. There’s a softness to this that people will enjoy.
