Silky smooth, generously proportioned, sumptuous, full-flavoured drinking - 2015 was clearly a good year for this appropriately named shiraz. Time in our cellar has finely buffed what was always a classically soft, round Barossa offering. Drink now to 3 years. (Tasted Oct. 2022).

Curious marketing. Comes in a deluxe heavy bottle, challenging foil label and theme suggesting this is the peak of Barossa Valley shiraz. It's not that, but it's an impressive wine at the price, full-bodied but not porty or extractive. Blackberry and blood plum fruits, balanced oak and massaged tannins tick all the boxes.
