The name "Ink" implies a certain density of colour. The rich, purple tinged colour delivers that density nicely. With density of colour, you expect richness of flavour. That box is ticked, too. Ripe black plum and currants, roasted coffee beans, black olive, charred sweet capsicum and oak derived vanilla, tinged with mint add up to an attention grabbing wine. Serve with loin of venison.
