Fruit harvested from elevated vineyards within the Calchaquí Valley. By elevated we mean from between 1700 and 2000 metres above sea level, some of the most elevated vineyards in the world. Impressively flavour-filled, balanced, and with earthy savoury notes, the respect paid to the fruit is obvious. Blackberry, mulberry, tobacco, licorice and spice are foremost among its flavours. Allow the wine a little time to breathe for best results. El Esteco is a name worth remembering when purchasing malbec.
