Vintage 2018
90 points
Such a bright, crisp red driven by a clean acid line and fresh flavours of red cherry, red currant and earthy raspberries, with an under-pinning mineral and dry herb note. An undemanding mencia from Bierzo, Spain intended for simple meals and good company, we recommend tomato-based dishes to match the structure of the wine. It’s at its best with food.
