40 Year Old 1972 Cask 710 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL

Each year Master Distiller, Billy Walker, specially selects a handful of individual casks from the warehouse at Glendronach Distillery, to be bottled as GlenDronach 'Limited Release'. With maturing whiskies dating back as far as 1968, there is a vast selection of barrels, hogsheads, puncheons and butts to choose from. Each of these casks displays truly remarkable characteristics, the malt whisky contained within having developed exceptionally during the long maturation process. Individually numbered by hand, each vintage release is an exclusive one-off, with only a limited number of bottles available.

Nose: Beautiful spices, laced with chocolate orange, raisins and honey.
Appearance: Rich bronze mahogany.
Palate: Dark Chocolate and fruit cake in harmony with raisins, figs, Demerara and loads of spices, layered with honey.
