Some reductive stink, sausage, black fruit, gum leaf and chocolate. Medium bodied, blackcurranty, sinewy and firm, some herbal and reductive bitterness, decent finish. Authentic and savoury.

While no more than light to medium bodied, everything in this wine is in its right place, the varietal expression is clear and neither minty nor herbal, the tannins are fine-grained and the oak precisely judged. Excellent value.
