Merindoc vineyard, Tooborac area of Heathcote, riesling the protagonist. Good intel on back labels of these wines. Front label by super talented illustrator Adriana Picker. Wine in glass reasoned into existence by good man Adam Foster. Delicious, fresh and frisky riesling with a little extra body and bounce. Sweet lime, Granny Smith apples, a bit of the old Vitamin C powder orangey zing to the wine, some nice minerally notes too. Long, kinda plush, not fat, just some juicy juiciness going on, and, neatly, a trail of talc-like minerality to finish. Everything in the right place, lots of vitality. Quite a quintessential riesling but that extra extra something something is a good groove here.
