Vintage 2018
93 points
A lush and chunky expression in 2018, though not without freshness and some skinsy chew of tannin alongside. Rich, earthy scents and flavours, espresso and game meat in the mix, dark chocolate, panforte there too. Moves with authority in the palate, wide and bold with that ripple of tannin building slowly. A warming, mellow, really complex red emerges. One for now, one for cellar.

Vintage 2018
93 points
Celebrating winemaker Adam Foster's 15th vintage, and what a year for it. The 2018 vintage has been hailed as one of Heathcote's best in the last 10 years. An expressive regional blend that captures all the area's dark fruits, dried herbs, sweet spice and red earth notes. Medium weight, supple with a light savoury twang, it seems destined to reveal a lot more after more time in bottle.
