About this product
Founded in 1865, this premier Burgundy producer has, in recent times, brought their expertise and experience to bear on the delightful gamay reds of the Beaujolais region. Les Papillons, "The Red Butterflies", is produced from vines that have an average age of 40 years. The fruit is semi-carbonically fermented to ensure a supple and bright fruitiness. The finished wine exhibits highly aromatic small red fruit notes with buoyant juiciness and a soft finish. Best enjoyed as a young wine.

From one of the best of the large players in Beaujolais comes this juicy, fragrant delight. Richly aromatic, it’s undemanding with abundant fresh and smashable red fruit and bubblegum flavours to enjoy. Smoothly finished and joyful to drink - don’t over-think it.
