About this product
Trapiche have been at the forefront of Argentinian winemaking for well over 100 years. They make more malbec than anyone else in the world, and their focus is always on quality. The dark staining fruit is hand harvested in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, fermented with native yeasts and allowed to undergo Malolactic fermentation and mature for 8 months in concrete.
The wine is an outstanding deep red colour with some violet hues. Aromas are of red fruits such as plums and cherries. In the mouth, it is round with a touch of minerality. The wine has great concentration of flavour and an elegant finish.

The great red grape of Argentina - malbec, here sourced from the Uco Valley and presented unoaked allowing the purity of the fruit to shine. A medium bodied style with good flavour intensity - red and black fruit, earthy tannins, juicy and uncomplicated by oak - a pure, undemanding, easy drinking expression of Malbec.
