French oak and concentrated, classic cabernet aromas introduce a new entrant to the highly prized world of Coonawarra reds. Clearly aimed at the premium end of the market, Riddoch The Pastoralist Cabernet Sauvignon impresses from the start with an uncompromising commitment to fruit quality and winemaking craft. An emphatic inner power drives the sweetly spiced dark berry flavours whilst mocha oak notes and silky tannins add the required finishing touches. Cellaring for a decade or more will provide outstanding drinking in the future, however, it's an absolute pleasure to drink right now. A wonderful new option for fans of great Australian reds.

Matured for 12 months in French oak. This is big, broad-shouldered and as dense as midnight, full to the brim with black fruit and spice. With dark broody vibes on show, this has tannins that band across the fruit and push it through the finish. Big. Robust.
