A perfect combo for fans of respectably priced grenache. Combine the home ground advantage of southern France with the growing and winemaking mastery of Languedoc legend, Jean Claude Mas and you are on very safe “grenache” ground. L’Artisan Le Grenache Noir is “on point”. Rounded, supple red and black fruit, toasty notes, and a touch of licorice and vanilla are all to be found in a wine of impressive succulent depth and smoothness.
