Dry, Light Bodied style of Pinot GrigioMonterra's cool climate vineyards produce a “classic” Grigio style of wine. Apples and pears dominate the senses, and a crisp, lively palate ensues. After the bushfires raised their Adelaide Hills vineyard, their 2020 Pinot Grigio was sourced from their long term growers in a range of regions across South Australia. Each year Monterra select individual parcels of fruit that best reflect the style of wine that they are trying to produce. Picked in the coolest part of the morning, temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks was followed by early bottling to maintain varietal definition and maximum freshness.

Light bodied white wines have a water-light mouthfeel. Often very pale to light colour.
