Wonderfully ripe and inviting, the bouquet shows blackcurrant, vanilla, dark chocolate and toasted nut characters with a touch of pepper spice. The palate delivers succulent fruit intensity and lovely mid-palate weight, backed by fine texture and supple tannins, finishing long and delectable.

This is showing considerable evolution, despite its relative youth. Tomato leaf, bracken, black olive and stewed red plum. The tannins, oak and grape, drying across the finish. There is some pleasure, but best drunk soon.
