About this product

The Jesuits have been making wine in the Clare Valley for more than a century and a half and have access to some amazing old-vine fruit.  Arguably the best value premium red wine in the country, this Pomerol (Bordeaux, FR) inspired blend of Cabernet, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc has depth and power not seen in many wines more than twice the price.

SMH recent review proved spot on. This is a Bordeaux blend par excellence with bright fruits and fresh tannins which make it a put away for 10 yrs + depending on yr cellaring conditions. Wonderful flavors of cherry, cured plum, a trace pome

I am 65 years old and have been drinking very good reds for decades. This wine is comparable with the best of the best of any wine I have tasted including many wines costing much more than St Ignatius.
