About this product

Manzanilla is a lightly fortified wine, unique to the coastal town of Sanlucar de Barrameda in Southern Spain. Solear is bright, fresh, delicate and extraordinarily dry with a long, nutty, tangy finish. With its pale yellow colour and its light, fragrant aromas, this pleasantly dry Manzanilla is the perfect accompaniment to tapas, appetisers and a range of starters such as Spanish cured ham, artichokes, asparagus, shellfish and salmon.

Have tried several versions of Manzanilla and really enjoyed this one for its smooth lightness, though not in an alcoholic way. Will buy again.

Like Daisy - it takes me back to Sanlucar - the tang comes from the breeze off the Atlantic. The barrels were made from oak ballast jettisoned by the ships from the Americas in the little port. Great drink.

If you try this with sprite, mint and ice, you will have a perfect Rebujito, from the south of Spain

Anyone who loves Sherry needs to try this. Delicate and fresh Manzanilla always takes me back to Sanlucar :)
