LinnaeaCortese Dell'Alto Monferrato
About this product
The fruit for Linnaea's Allora is sourced from plantings of 30-year-old vines sitting high in the Monferrato hills of Piedmont. A portion (approximately 12%) of the harvest was fermented and macerated as whole berries on skins for approximately a month. The other portion was immediately pressed post-harvest and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. Both parcels were aged on gross lees with some stirring to build weight and texture, and to build on the savoury characters.
