The Villa Puccini can be considered one of the now famous 'Super Tuscan' blends - a majority Sangiovese blended with small amounts of Merlot. This enables this medium-bodied food style wine to carry some extra depth and concentration. Perfect when paired with Mediterranean styled cuisine due to its weight and savoury finish.

Excellent drop soft tannins extremely drinkable, goes particularly well with Pasta or any Meat dishes. One of the top five Italian Rosso's I do enjoy at an affordable price for a good wine.

Lovely notes of mint and olives, followed by hints of black pepper and red cherries, great complexity and finish from a wine of this price, outstanding value for money. Fantastic with a traditional pasta dish or pizza.
