About this product

The classic light dry white from near the mouth of the Loire river on the Atlantic coast of France.  The grapes are gently pressed and the young wine is allowed to sit on lees for 6 months to bring out that wonderful briney note fans of Muscadet so love.  It is bright, light yellow in color with green reflections. A fine and complex nose, expressive and aromatic. It develops notes of citrus, flowers and white-fleshed fruits. The attack is straightforward. The palate is elegant, mineral and aromatic. Citrus notes bring liveliness and freshness. The classic accompaniament is oysters, but just about any molluscs or crustaceans will do.
