About this product

Savignin is the iconic white grape of the Côtes du Jura. The Domaine Rijckaert vineyards of Savagnin are located in Buvilly, a blessed terroir for great white wines. The blend was made with the aim of highlighting  the amazing complexity of this unique variety!  At once expressive, rich and refreshing. This rustic grape variety is both powerfull and fine, and when carefuly vinified, it expresses an unrivalled complexity.  2018 was a brilliant vintage, perfectly ripe, exceptionally balanced and with abundant energy.

Complex and textural white with nuttiness and oxidative notes but plenty of easy drinking pleasure. This would be ace with lots of richer foods.

I would have given -1 but the option was unavailable, Has a strong offputting aftertaste, for $50.00 there are so many french varietals like Sancerre or Chardonnay that are great tasting
