Marquis De MonsMargaux
About this product
Marquis de Mons is the second wine of the Château La Tour de Mons, Cru Bourgeois Margaux.
The Château La Tour de Mons is a single block vineyard, located in the northern part of the Mar-
gaux appellation, on the banks of the Garonne, as are the best Médoc Crus. This 2016 vintage
was classified in the wine-grower’s memory as an unprecedented vintage with its long Indian summer.
A blend of 64% merlot and 36% cabernet sauvignon, the wine shows a ruby red colour and presents a fresh nose with floral notes and small red berries. Soft in the mouth, the attack is round and greedy with nice acidity. The mid-palate is well-balanced and harmonious. The finish offers sweet fruity aromas with toasted notes.
