About this product
Originally of the Campania region of Italy, Fiano was likely the variety that formed the wine known as ‘Apianum’ in Roman times. Curiously, ‘Apiana’ itself being a Latin reference for bees, Fiano has a tendency to attract bees whilst in ripening stages on the vine. Our bright, fresh Fiano is beautifully aromatic. Fruit sweet, it shows pineapple and mineral acidity running through the length of the intensely flavourful palate.

Medium bodied white wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often pale lemon coloured to pale gold.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
