Beautiful chardonnay. A wine of flavour and style. Excellent power, mouthfeel and persistence. White peach, nectarine, crystallised fruits, cedar wood and chalk. A quartz-like aspect. Lots of lingering flavour. Spice, fruit and rock. It makes quality look easy.

Two blocks in Lenswood and Piccadilly Valley provide excellent fruit, wild barrel fermented and matured for 11 months in oak, of which 25% was new. The fruit remains the main focus, delicious white nectarine flavours of the utmost purity, delicately spicy and textured, with energy to spare in the exit. Superb.
