The Squitchy Lane Cabernet Blend is based on the classic reds of Bordeaux and is crafted from a blend Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Since they were planted in 1982, the vineyards at Squitchy Lane have demonstrated that are very well suited to the production of these classic Bordeaux varieties. The individual grape varieties are hand-harvested and fermented separately, before aging in French oak. Once the wines are completed, the winemaker assesses each barrel and decides the final blend.
