Everything feels as if it has been picked too early here. Thinking though the equation, tempranillo is an early ripener that surely needs to suffuse its bite amidst the burl of headier grenache. Instead, tomato leaf, sour cherry and a sense of under-ripeness. Chill heavily and you'll be in a drinkable zone.
