Dos Maderas 5+3 Rum 700mL

Dividing the ageing process into two different stages makes Dos Maderas 5 plus 3 a unique aged rum. This rum is first aged for 5 years in American oak casks at its place of origin in the Caribbean (Guyana and Barbados). Then it is shipped to Williams & Humbert’s installations in Jerez (Spain), where it is aged for another 3 years in casks that have previously held the internationally renowned Dos Cortados palo cortado sherry (aged for 20 years, as certified by the Jerez-Xeres-Sherry Regulatory Council). This two-stage process produces old rum of unique characteristics, offering toasted aromas with hints of vanilla and nut. Serve it neat or with a few ice-cubes or as the main ingredient in select cocktails.
