Dry, Medium Bodied style of ChardonnayPairs well with SeafoodIndependent wineryOur philosophy is to craft single vineyard wines of great purity and character, reflective of our site and the season in which it was grown. It’s the attention and care in the vineyard that is most critical to allowing this expression. The palate is youthful and intensely concentrated, there is a nice layer of almond meal and cashew nut from the barrel fermentation rounding out the fruit. There are layers of deeply textured and concentrated fruit. White stone fruit and pithy grapefruit weave through a tightly wound and piercingly intense, mineral finish that goes on and on.

Medium bodied white wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often pale lemon coloured to pale gold.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

While there’s no shortage of fine, mouth-watering acidity pulsing throughout, it’s surprisingly open and flavoursome. And everything is in place so this is balanced. Citrus and white stone fruit, creamy lees, nougatine and some spicy oak unfurl across the finely tuned palate. Refreshing, enjoyable now and will garner more complexity with time.
