About this product
The Pierre Brévin Pouilly-Fumé is a delightful old world expression of Sauvignon Blanc. A gentle nose of citrus and tropical fruits leads into a palate with terrific length and mouth feel and typical French minerality.

Light bodied white wines have a water-light mouthfeel. Often very pale to light colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

As expected, the first waft is of gun smoke and flint, followed by yellow flower, yellow plum and then the subtle, almost shy, fresh flavours of green melon and white stone fruit, all very restrained and delicate - very unlike the sauvignon blancs found in New Zealand. A very food-friendly style of crisp dry white.
