This wine has always represented incredible value, and with the constant improvements being made to the vineyard the almost famous Clos des Mures, 2017 vintage, has never been better. The depth and generosity of the plump fruit is a highlight, and, with its deft oak handling, the result is a silken wine with suppleness, power and finesse. Blueberries, plums, black fruit, garigue (sage, lavender, thyme) vanilla bean and asian spice can all be found. A heady concoction. Glorious value.
