A fine Margaret River Chardonnay for this money. You can’t walk past this. Cracking value. A pale lemon straw hue, the nose does have a flick of oak evident or at least, it certainly gives that impression. There are notes of bright citrus and a touch of peach here, as well. The wine is taut and tight, a value Chardy with poise. It provides clean, fresh and flavoursome drinking and will continue to do so for another three to four years, at least.

For a wine selling for around 20dollars, there is a bit of class in this Margaret River chardonnay. Picked earlier to miss a lot of the heat. Fermented in French oak with lees stirring to add palate richness and complexity. Creamy with subtle cashew and citrus characters. The palate is tightly held through the core but with ample flesh for current drinking. Cellar for up to 4 years.
