Alsace gewurztraminer is a French classic and one of the most distinctive wines in the world. Dopff 2011 is a good example and a steal at the price. Typically pungent, exotic aromas are like a cocktail of lychees, ginger, rosewater and spice. It''s richly flavoured and spicy in the mouth, and sweetness adds a luxurious touch that leads to a dry finish.
