About this product

Wine styleDry, Full Bodied style of Cabernet MerlotIndependentIndependent winery
Good depth of fragrant and quite spicy, ripe berry fruit aromas with a hint of char-grilled sweet capsicum. Lovely sweet and smoky dark plum fruit flavours along with some delicious blackberry fruit characters. The wine is well structured with these generous dark berry fruit flavours complemented by the chewy, lightly drying tannins picked up from the skin contact during fermentation. Has the depth of fruit to be enjoyed now but also has the good structure to improve with further bottle age. Delicious now with everything from a cheese platter to a full flavoured meal.

Convincing purple-crimson colour; 12 months maturation in used French oak has resulted in the best possible outcome for this juicy, supple, joyously red berry-fruited wine; terrific value for drinking today or in five years.

      90 points The Real Review

Deep colour with a touch of development to it, the bouquet is likewise, with fresh clean tobacco-leaf, raspberry and blackberry flavours, a hint of mint, the palate showing good depth of bright fruit and ripe tannins. A very good cabernet with a little development, which makes it all the more enjoyable young. Great value.
