There's solid blackness in the colour and chunky, dark fruit in the mouth. The flavours are obvious and persistently mouth filling. All is in balance. Regional dark chocolate impressions and a hit of very "shirazy" white pepper give this robust red added interest.

True to the back label description, there’s a swirl of supple blue fruit pillowing a core of peppered black fruit in the 2020 edition of this remarkably well priced red. Fine granular tannins, a charry note and mocha and dark chocolate notes provide an excellent finale to a wine that gives the illusion of effortless winemaking.
