Small parcels of Old Vine fruit were hand-crafted from the western Barossa Valley to create our trademark voluptuous, opulent yet refined Silence is Golden. The low yielding vintage produced perfect fruit with a great level of fruit intensity. Highly concentrated pure wine featuring alluring flavours of blackberry, plum, olive and chocolate. There are tannins as smooth as velvet with the slightest touch of acidity and wonderfully integrated oak ensuring great intensity, length and cellaring potential.

Fruit rich, clean, vinous nose, warm, rounded and cuddly like a Rueben's portrait. So much richness, depth and length. A Barossa classic. Roasted root vegetable, plums and finely framing silty tannins. Oooh, yeah!
