About this product

Designed to preserve the flavour of your wine, this vacuum pump slows oxidation by extracting air from opened bottles. Includes two reusable rubber stoppers. directions: just cap your bottle with one of the stoppers, then use the pump to create an airtight seal. remove pump leaving stopper in bottle. stand bottle upright.

Very affordable, easy to use and does what it says it should. I'm using it to preserve vermouths and aromatised wines.

Learning to not be too enthusiastic and pull the handle from the piston. It doesn't need to be pumped that vigorously that you pull the handle off. After several uses you learn when to stop, as more pumping is futile. I used a dollup of

Great little device. I would say it extended an opened bottle of red I had from going off for an extra 2 days. Considering it's plastic, made in China, and costs $7.50 you can't ask for much more. :)
