Oh, yum. 2018 was a good year for this label. Brouilly, a Beaujolais village in the mid-north of the region, is known for the relative richness of its wines. This 2018, from a monopole owned by the esteemed house of Mommessin, boasts succulently ripe, plummy, rounded, dark cherry laden fruit. Maybe not in the very top echelon of Beaujolais, but we bet the bottle is drained before you know it!
