I use this port every Christmas when I make my fruit cakes. I soak the fruit in this port for 2 to 3 days before I make my cakes. No complaints on my usage of this port.

I like this port as it is indeed smooth, no hard edges at all, and quite sweet. It is also very good value. Can be a bit more-ish!

Most of us that like a port would be familiar with Mc Williams's Royal Reserve, it's blend that's been around forever and I'm sure it's available in every liquor shop around the country....its familiar red label sits on the shelf and tease

McWilliams have been around a long time and their quality has never changed, It has always been very good for the price and their range of sherry's are also exceptional

This Port is 18%. I have found any Port under !8% is forgettable although some such as over rated Grandfather Port is NO BETTER than this McWilliam's Smooth Tawny at 25% of the Grandfather price,
